What are the responsibilities and job description for the Suzuki Cello Teacher position at Kansas City Suzuki Academy?
The Kansas City Suzuki Academy is seeking a dynamic, nurturing and collaborative cello teacher to join its Faculty. With more than ninety students and rapid growth since the school's founding in 2016, this position has the opportunity to grow from part-time to a full studio. Duties:
Teach students of all ages and abilities through the Suzuki method.
Participate and occasionally lead group activities including Play-ins, Dress Rehearsals, and Group Concerts.
Communicate clearly and effectively with parents.
Collaborate with other Faculty members on repertoire choices, Faculty Performances, and School Events.
Qualifications:
SAA Registered Cello Teacher Training through Book 4.
Bachelor's Degree in Music, Masters degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years teaching experience.
