What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paramedic position at Kansas Medical Center?
Looking to add a Paramedic to our Emergency Department team! This a full-time position 11PM - 11AM. The Paramedic will provide basic and advanced life support to sick and injured persons in the hospital setting. The Paramedic will perform all essential job functions under the direct supervision of the Emergency Department Physician or Nurse in Charge.
Education/Training: Must be a graduate of state and/or national Paramedic (MICT) program.
Licensure and Certification Requirements: Paramedic Certification issued by the Kansas State Board of Emergency Medical Services required. BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS all required.
Experience Required: Two years of street Paramedic or Emergency Department experience required.
