A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN SCHEDULER
As a or Scheduler, you are responsible for maintaining surgery, radiology and pain schedules with attention to detail, maximizing utilization of the hospital staff, equipment and time. Develops cooperative bonds with physician offices. Uses flexibility and creativity to result in best outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SCHEDULER
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in medical field with medical terminology required
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification preferred
WORK SCHEDULE
This full-time scheduler position in surgery works a typical schedule of 9 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
