General Description of Position:
The Division of Biology seeks field technicians for the collection of data on research projects. The technician will collect and record field data electronically on locations and habitat use by mourning doves in remote areas.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Biology or Environmental Science
Experience in capture and handling birds, vhf radio telemetry, vegetation identification of prairie plants
Direct experience with capturing and handling doves
Ability to use Excel and other basic computer programs for data entry, skilled in equipment and vehicle maintenance.
Physical Activities and Environmental Conditions :
Outdoor environment with potential weather extremes.

Salary commensurate upon experience and qualifications. $10.72 -$17.69/hr
