Job Description
The client is looking for someone who is an expert in PeopleSoft FSCM as it relates to higher education, and the PeopleSoft CS Student Financials module.
Responsibilities
- Provide training and advice to assistant directors and other Accounting Services staff on the use and functionality of FSCM and CS SF
- Provide assistance to Accounting Services staff on generating financial reports and accounting methods, techniques and functionality within our ERP
- Serve as Accounting Services point of contact for compliance-related tasks and requests from other state and federal agencies
- Serve as somewhat of a project manager for Accounting Services tasks – ensuring staff are working on them and completing them on time
- Lead and provide all activities to prepare financial statements and compliance reports
- Lead closing procedures, reconciliations and adjustments necessary for the accurate representation in financial statements and compliance reports;
- Provide quality assurance and quality control for the preparation of monthly and periodic financial reports;
- Perform complex accounting tasks and other duties or projects as assigned.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in related field
- 2-5 years experience demonstrating leadership in accounting function
- Demonstrated experience in the use of modern electronic, data processing and accounting applications.
Salary : $60 - $70
