Blending Operator– Afternoon and Midnight Shift
Kar’s Nuts – Madison Heights, MI
We have openings for full time Blending Operators at our snack factory located at 1200 East 14 Mile in Madison Heights, Michigan.
We have positions on the afternoon shift 3:00pm - 11:0pm and midnight shift from 11:00pm to 7:00am Monday through Friday with overtime as needed.
The starting pay rate is $15.00 per hour plus $.50 shift premium for afternoon shift or $0.75 shift premium for midnights. Opportunity for increases once you have mastered multiple machines
A Blending Operator at Second Nature Brands will create the blends our famous Kars and Second Nature products in order to fulfill our vision of Making things better by nourishing people and nature. The responsibilities of Blending Operator include the following:
- Ensure high food safety standards by inspecting and removing non-conforming materials.
- Correctly rotate inventory to reduce the likelihood of spoilage.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts by recording all essential information.
- Load and unload materials by hand and Hi-Lo.
- Safely and effectively operate Hi-Lo truck.
- Clean blending equipment and maintain a clean work environment.
- Understand cleaning processes and complete cleaning verification logs.
- Work with team lead and supervisor to hit performance targets.
- Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Q&FS (Quality & Food Safety), and OSHA Safety policies.
