Kaseya is looking for a Security Architect to join our Product Security team. You will provide leadership for the architecture, design, standards, & frameworks to keep Kaseya’s data, customers, & systems secure.
The primary objective of this role is to improve the security architecture and drive to a future state security architecture that minimizes risk to Kaseya’s information systems. The successful candidate should have a passion and thorough understanding of what it takes to build and operate secure, reliable systems.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an enterprise security architecture framework that enables Kaseya to develop and implement security solutions and capabilities that are clearly aligned with business strategy, technology, and current & emerging threats
- Implement and oversee an Enterprise Architecture Review Board (EARB) to ensure the alignment of security goals in the design and implementation of technology to the desired outcomes of specific projects and programs, and Kaseya’s business goals and objectives
- Establish, maintain, and optimize security architecture diagrams, policies, standards, and procedures to support monitoring, detection, reporting and resolution of security vulnerabilities and attack vectors
- Perform assessment of existing platforms and processes to understand limitations and weaknesses to identify security challenges and identify opportunities for efficiencies, as well as for improvements in security controls
- Participate and provide guidance in the design, development and delivery of technical security solutions that aligns to industry standards and business goals while ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Kaseya’s information systems
- Plan, oversee and participate in projects related to all security disciplines, including, policy, procedures, compliance, governance, architecture, applications, cloud, network etc.
- Partner and coach product owners, developers, IT, Cloud, and business teams to instill security processes and practices from planning, through to deployment of Kaseya’s technologies, cloud and on-prem services
- Research and develop threat intelligence briefings that are pertinent to our industry, company, customer, and product solutions
Education, Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related field
- Security related professional certification (e.g., CISSP)
- Experience architecting and designing secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) focusing on software architecture and design
- Experience in security architecture methodologies (e.g., SABSA, OSA, O-ESA)
- Experience performing threat modeling and design reviews to assess security implications and requirements for introduction of new technologies
- Experience architecting and designing cloud security capabilities in areas of IAM, endpoint security, network security, data protection and application security practices and environments within AWS and Azure
- Strong understanding of microservices and service-oriented architecture design patterns
- Experience with global compliance frameworks such as NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001
- Ability to present ideas and results to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work in both a collaborative team environment as well as independently when required
