In Kastech we are looking for an Ultrasound Tech to work in a Full -time schedule in Henderson, NC for one of our partners in the Healthcare Sector.
Salary: 78k/year BONUS Relocation
Our Ultrasound Tech will be under the general guidance of the physicians/providers and perform a variety of diagnostics with ultrasonographic procedures.
Our Ultrasound Tech will be reporting to our Director of Imaging/Radiology.
Responsibilities:
- Receive patients, explains method of procedure and makes sure patient is comfortable.
- Provide patient services to all ages using imaging modalities.
- Operating ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
- Maintaining equipment and supplies and organizes work area.
- Keep accurate records, helps with scheduling of the ultrasound and keeps patient flow smooth.
- Effectively utilize the Electronic Health Record.
- Call will be assigned on a as needed basis.
Must-Have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Ultrasound
ARRT registry in Ultrasonography required or ARDMS registered
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required through American Heart Association (AHA) within 30 days of hire
Nice-To-Have:
- One year of imaging experience preferred
