MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Technical Science (e.g. Engineering) desirable. Batchelor’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of one (1) year actual Salesforce development experience is required, more is preferred.
- Background developing/debugging and testing of software applications.
- Salesforce Certification preferred. Proof of Salesforce training required.
- Ability to produce quality technical documentation and analysis.
- Ability to effectively create, configure, and deploy VisualForce, Apex, and Lightning Components within a team environment.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance. In some cases, a Top Secret (T5) background investigation must be conducted.
- Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks (U.S. citizenship required).
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- CompTIA Securty certification a plus.
- Experience working as a Salesforce Developer with technical knowledge/experience in languages such as Java, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap, AJAX, jQuery a plus.
- Experience with Agile software development and DevSecOps a plus.
- Knowledge and experience with VisualForce, Apex, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs a plus.
- Strong understanding of concepts in Computer Science (data structures, run time, common algorithms).
- Working experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Eggplant, Selenium) is a plus.
- Other programming language experience a plus.
- Experience working with Salesforce DevOps including tools and technologies such as Agile Accelerator, Flosum, Copado, Eggplant, and/or Salesforce DX a plus.
- Microservices/API experience (SOAP/REST) a plus.
- Self-starter who is comfortable working with various skill sets including other developers and system engineers.
- Upbeat attitude and a passion for learning.
- Organized and efficient with ability to document all stages of the design solutions.
- Experience in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, etc.).
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and soft skills.
WORK SCHEDULE
Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.
TRAVEL
The expected travel time is less than 25%.
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS
Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving. The expected driving time is less than 25%.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is expected to be remote; however, the company reserves the right to require onsite work.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, bending, stooping, crouching, and lifting weights up to 20 pounds. Frequently uses hands/fingers for manipulation of keyboard and mouse. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- Pay is $65,000 to $95,000 per year.
