What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Transporter -Van Driver position at Kauai Care Center?
As a Van Driver, you ensure safe and timely transportation of kupuna to appointments and activities.
You will:
- Ensure the safety of each passenger, assisting with wheelchair locking and seatbelt fastening
- Inspect vehicle wear items daily, maintain license tags, inspection & trip logs
- Clean vehicle interior and exterior regularly
- Obey driving laws and ensure appointment timeliness
You currently:
- Are timely and dependable
- Display cleanliness and a well-groomed personal appearance, representing the facility in a professional manner
- Read, write, speak and understand English
- Possess a driver's license in good standing and the ability to obtain a CDL as required
- Typical candidates have one year of experience working with older adults
