- Diagnose and correct minor issues with hardware and software or create instructional materials as needed.
- Help to build out workflow requirements for various departmental interfaces.
- Accept Help Desk calls for all products, systems, and software that Engines Division IT supports.
- Provide staff and end-users with assistance solving computer related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems.
- Maintain and monitor computer programs and systems, correcting errors and make necessary modifications or recommend changes.
- Document and revise system procedures, test procedures, and departmental standards.
- Perform basic to intermediate network support and security activities, including (but not limited to): Active Directory and other software account maintenance; generalized network monitoring and maintenance; device networking maintenance
- Evaluate and recommend computer software or hardware needed to set up, improve, or alter existing business and end-user systems.
- Install and maintain new and existing equipment (phones; PC’s; peripherals; work productivity).
Necessary experiene & skills required to be successful:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
- 3 years experience in an IT role.
- Had exposure to: networking equipment, multiple PC manufactuerers, Windows, MS 365, disaster recovery & malware protection.
- Enjoys helping others, strong focus on the customer and helping to educate the customer.
- Very reliable and enjoys working in a team environment.
