Department Specific Requirements-
If assigned to Case Management: knowledge and understanding of: Medicare Rules and Regulations, Commercial Insurance, State and County Programs, Community Resources, Post Acute Care and Criteria.

If assigned to NICU: MSN, or BSN (as above) and either a master's degree in a related field or certificate in nursing (NICU preferred) or health care administration from a nationally recognized accrediting organization. Requires at least three years of clinical nursing experience at least one of which shall have been in a facility with a NICU that is equivalent to a Regional or Community NICU.

If assigned to Hospice: requires at least three to five years of clinical nursing experience providing palliative care or hospice services. Certified Hospice Palliative Nurse (CHPN) strongly preferred.

If assigned to Medical/Renal: requires at least two years acute care experience with preference of working with renal patients. Prefer one year acute care management experience.

If assigned to ICU, Cardiac Services, Emergency Dept, PACU: requires ACLS within one year of hire/transfer.

If assigned to Emergency Department: requires PALS within nine months of hire/transfer; requires TNCC within one year of hire/transfer.

If assigned to Chronic Dialysis: requires at least 12 months experience as a registered nurse, plus 6 months experience as a registered nurse providing clinical nurse care to dialysis patients, in either a chronic or acute setting; or one year clinic manager experience.
