Job Title: Hogan Mainframe Developer
Location: Kansas City, MO (25% travel required)
Duration: 11 months
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, code, test, and implement complex Hogan applications and modules as per the requirements and within the stipulated timelines
- Perform detailed analysis of business and technical requirements to ensure alignment with client expectations and adherence to Hogan system capabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in the Hogan environment, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers to promote best practices in Hogan application development
- Provide continuous production support for all Hogan-related tasks and issues
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Hogan IDS, Hogan CIS, Hogan RPM, and other Hogan systems
- Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and VSAM, with a strong understanding of mainframe development and debugging tools
- Ability to conduct root-cause analysis, provide incident resolution, and apply minor enhancements as they pertain to Hogan applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner
- This role will require a rotating on-call schedule and occasional travel to the client site in Missouri (up to 25%)
