Position Overview:
As a Sushi Roller at Kazu, you will play a crucial role in creating an unforgettable dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of prior experience in sushi preparation and possess a deep understanding of Japanese culinary techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Sushi Preparation: Expertly prepare and roll sushi using traditional techniques and high-quality ingredients.
- Menu Contribution: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and refine sushi menu offerings.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all sushi dishes meet our standards of quality, freshness, and presentation.
- Kitchen Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to coordinate the timely preparation and delivery of sushi orders.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized work station, following all health and safety guidelines.
- Customer Interaction: Interact with guests at the sushi bar, answering questions and providing recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a Sushi Roller in a professional kitchen.
