KBR is seeking a Financial Manager to support the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E), Mission Prototype (MP) Directorate performing within the metropolitan Washington, DC area.
Responsibilities Include:
Apply the planning, programming, budgeting, executing (PPBE) process to support planning and execution of the MP budget.
Perform financial analyses and tracks execution of programs and projects including preparing Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPR), sub-allocations and Inter-Agency Agreements (IAA) funding documents.
Prepare statistical and analysis reports and briefings for senior leadership
Contribute to the development of program and budget submissions (i.e., Issue Papers, RDT&E Documents (R-DOCS) and R&D Description Summaries (R-2s) and Program Office Memorandum inputs.
Leverage DoD financial management tools to track and provide status of funds, obligations, expenditures, and preparation of reports in support the customer Programming and Comptroller Office and senior leadership review.
Review, allocate, manage acquisition resources, including financial analysis of programs and projects
Leverage financial management information to support assessments of funds, programming, budget, execution status, forecasting, and funds reconciliation
Assist in reviewing task order scope, statement of work, and performance work statements.
Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or relevant discipline required
Financial Management experience and working knowledge applying the PPBE process
Knowledge and experience with DoD Budget tools and systems, such as G-Invoice and Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), Core Financials, EBAS, EMS, Cognos Reporting, Comptroller Exhibits for R-2 website.
Strong oral and written communications at DoD senior leadership levels
Security Clearance Requirements: Active SECRET
