Title:

Web Content Administrator

KBR is currently seeking an experienced Junior Systems Analyst (JSA) for the Joint Technical Data Integration (JTDI) program with knowledge supporting web site technical data, maintenance content posting and safety of fight messages to maintain fleet readiness for Navy, USMC, Army, and Army National Guard.

The JSA will develop, manage, and administer web content for over 50 weapon system web sites (WSWS) within the JTDI portal.

Duties include updating technical, supply, and maintenance information to DoD Aviation and Ground equipment maintainers. Designs and builds web pages using a variety of software applications, techniques, and development tools. Develops user interface features, site animation and special effects. Coordinates with web content developers and graphics designers to ensure that needs are technically feasible.

Provides technical site maintenance and advice on issues related to animation, search engine techniques, link integrity, navigation, browsers, graphics, and other technical web developments.

Develops code using HTML, Visual Basic or other web-based programming languages. Performs functionality and navigation testing.

Prepares technical documentation Performs routine assignments in the entry level to a professional job progression.

Develops competence by performing structured work assignments. Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems.

Receives instruction, guidance, and direction from others.

Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within a discipline.

Applies general knowledge of industry developed through education or experience.

Begins acquiring disciplinary knowledge within the context of specific DOD, Agency, and/or industry standards and IT requirements.

Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems; analyzes information and standard practices to make judgments.

Has limited impact on own work team; works within standardized procedures.

Duties include:

  • Delivers updated technical, supply, and maintenance information to the warfighter.
  • Utilizes HTML, JavaScript, CSS and Windows Server 2016 /2019 to execute critical updates that impact fleet readiness.
  • Communicates with Government personnel and customers daily to ensure effective and accurate technical updates of aerial and ground weapons are completed.
  • Collaborates with Software developers to provide status updates through daily monitoring and customer outreach involving PMO approved projects.
  • Assists end users through troubleshooting and provides efficient solutions to promote the transparency of technical processes within JTDI platform.
  • Drafts and produces technical documentation to reflect software upgrades and platform changes.
  • Facilitates system administration to construct permissions and privileged access on a
  • Need-to-know basis within the JTDI control panel.
  • Leverage’s Service Desk ticketing system to track and document completed tasks.
  • Knowledge with Microsoft IIS, Liferay, and Apache web services
  • Ability to learn supported systems.

Require Knowledge and Experience:

  • At least two (4) years of experience with DoD systems
  • Knowledge of Content Management and Web site development/design principles
  • Knowledge of web site access control processes, user and group role controls for web portal and IIS web services

Required Education: High School diploma or GED.

Security Clearance Requirement: Secret or Top Secret with T5 background investigation.
