As a Senior Accountant, you will primarily focus on maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and financial statements at both individual practice and consolidated level.

Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:
- Take on a significant role in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement close processes, including the preparation, review, and reconciliation of accounting journals, and investigating and reporting on variances.
- Prepare detailed journal entries at the subsidiary reporting level, focusing on revenue recognition and expense allocation, to ensure accurate internal, departmental, and external financial reporting.
- Engage in project management, including developing and maintaining timelines for multiple projects to ensure timely completion of deliverables, journal entries, and workpapers.
- Participate actively in the development, establishment, and communication of accounting controls, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure complete and accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Assist in intercompany and elimination activities among subsidiaries, ensuring compliant and precise consolidated financial reporting.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure accounting policies and procedures are in compliance with GAAP and that internal controls are adhered to.
- Assist in preparing various tax returns (federal, state, local, sales, and special) and support financial statement audits and other reporting requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to Accounts Payable and other staff, sharing expertise and assistance as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Proficiency in working with large ERP systems such as Workday, Oracle, Dynamics, or SAP
- Knowledge of lease accounting standards reporting under ASC 842 is a plus
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
Compensation: Competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $75,000 to $85,000, bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.
