KC & Company, PC, a local CPA firm, has an opening for a tax preparer with 2 years of individual and business tax preparation experience.
Position could be filled as part-time with flexible hours for the right candidate (full time during tax season (Jan thru April) / part time rest of year) or full time with benefits depending on qualifications and availability of applicant.
Job duties include:
- Tax preparation of individual, corporate and partnership returns.
- Must be proficient in using tax preparation, accounting and document management software. Knowledge in Lacerte and QuickBooks a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in preparing tax returns with strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience working in public accounting or as a tax preparer is preferred.

Compensation and benefits package is negotiable depending on level of experience and individual needs.
