Where You Come In:
We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our growing team! As a QA Analyst on the KCF Software Team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a collaborative team of engineers in one of the most exciting fields in technology! This role must be willing to travel to State College, PA Headquarters as needed, and be comfortable with the autonomy of working remotely if they are not located near our PA offices.

Essential Functions:
- Actively participate as a member of a Scrum team
- Own and gain proficiency in one of our product offerings (i.e. advanced analytics, wireless sensors, machine health solutions platform)
- Analyze design and requirements documentation thoroughly for accuracy and completeness
- Create manual test cases and scenarios in accordance with acceptance criteria
- View the software as an end-user would to identify areas of inefficiencies
- Conduct manual testing for new features and enhancements to support our commercial cloud offering
- Write clear and concise bug reports and communicate with the software engineering team to facilitate bug resolution
- Monitor testing processes to ensure quality standards are achieved
- Ensure the product satisfies the requirements and meets end-user expectations
- Participate in the regression testing process by following written test plans as well as intuitively testing beyond what is written in the test plans
- Support the release process of new software including performing exploratory testing after the release
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and/or 2-5 plus years of relevant experience required
- Experience working with firmware and peripherals preferred
