Kansas City Millwork, a BMD company, is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team.

We are looking for a dedicated individual who wants to be part of a great team. This position requires frequent handling of doors, cabinets, windows, lumber, and molding. Duties include loading, delivery, and unloading of millwork products. This is an opportunity to provide excellent customer service as an important representative of the company.
Essential Functions:
- Unloads delivery trucks
- Lift, pull, pushes, and loads materials into bobtails or trailers
- Heavy demands - exert up to 100lbs of force occasionally, 50lbs frequently, and 20lbs constantly to move objects. Frequently standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, grasping, lifting, climbing, sitting, pushing, pulling, driving, and talking. Occasionally typing and writing.
- Secures loads using straps, poles, or ropes
- Daily performs safety vehicle checks on forklifts for safety purposes
- Cleans and maintains work area free from dirt and clutter to prevent accidents and allow for safe forklift movement within the warehouse
- Completes proper paperwork to verify loading and submits to the Warehouse Manager
- Creates and processes pick suggestions
- Prints transport notes and sorts by route and destination
- Drives company trucks in heavy traffic and mountainous terrain
- Responsible for keeping company vehicles neat and tidy
- Performs vehicle safety checks and fills out Driver’s Vehicle Condition reports as required by DOT
- Maintains a clean driving record
- Works overtime as needed
- Attends safety meetings
- Performs other duties as requested by the Warehouse and Transportation Manager
