Wire Harness Manager

Wire Harness Supervisor reports to the Plant Manager and oversees all the daily tasks associated with building electrical components for Cruisers Yachts. This position oversees up to 15 employees building and testing wiring harness for yachts. In addition to wiring harnesses this position oversees hose and cable cutting kits for production. This position will supervisor approximately 15 people, responsible for creating a safe and inviting work environment. Supervisor works close with Plant Manager and Scheduler and to meet company production goals. Candidate must have an electrical background and experienced with electrical terminations in a production environment.

Main Responsibilities:

· Maintains schedule of Department Meetings & Vacation Schedules

· Create spreadsheets and presentations as required.

· Maintains related files to defined procedures

· Assists in the development and maintenance of procedures

· May prepare requests for reproduction of documents.

· May prepare reports and memorandums as required

· Reviews, recommends and plans implementation of new processes and procedures

· Maintains a commitment to the company vision and the "spirit" of the organization.

· Perform special assignments as required

· Must abide by and enforce all organizational policies and procedures.

· Provides status reports to immediate management. Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Electrical Background is a MUST – 12 VDC & 115V

· Good verbal and written communications skills.

· Strong organization skills and process adherence to defined procedures.

· Must have strong organizational and time management skills.

· Must have the ability to maintain a professional demeanor.

· Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.

· Must have ability to maintain confidentiality.

Education and Experience:

· Manufacturing supervision experience is a MUST

· Knowledge of electrical circuits and electrical tooling associated with wire harnesses

· Some College preferred

· Leadership/Supervision experience (3-5 Years)

· Strong computer skills are a must (MS Office, Email, Printing, Reviewing Data)

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times

· Ability to work in a normal office environment to include: sitting or standing for long periods of time, operating various standard office equipment, carrying paper documents/files, reaching and bending, speaking on the telephone, safely walking through our manufacturing plant, and wearing required personal protective gear (i.e., eye and foot protection)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
