What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jr Plant Hygienist position at kdc/one?
Responsibilities:
Works with KDC personnel across the site to create a culture of aseptic technique, good hygiene practices, and micro risk awareness.
Reviews site Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for cleaning and sanitization.
Regularly audits the effectiveness of cleaning and sanitization procedures.
Conducts staff training of site cleaning and sanitization procedures.
Performs weekly Gemba walks of manufacturing and production area to identify micro risk areas, clean design defects, and proper adherence and execution of C&S procedures.
Oversees the execution of the Biofilm program/schedule.
Assists with Micro Risk Awareness (MRA) audits with key customers.
Assists Regional Plant Hygienist with micro investigations.
Conducts and monitors the facility Environmental Testing program.
Develop the plant Hygiene Swat Team.
Understands and adheres to Environmental, Occupational and Health and Safety requirements.
Understands and adheres to all Quality, Good Manufacturing practices and micro cleaning and sanitization standards and guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum High School Diploma (Two years college or equivalent preferred)
Minimum 5 years industry or related experience in cosmetic, device, food, or pharma.
Previous inspecting, auditing or manufacturing experience a plus.
Data analysis, spec development skills.
Computer literate.
Effective communication skills — internal and customer to resolve issues.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices Regulations (GMP’s)
