What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Manager position at KEB?
KEB is seeking an organized, professional, energetic and detail-oriented Tax Manager for the O'Fallon, IL office. The successful candidates should also possess the desire and ability to provide exceptional client service and maintain strong client relations. This position will be primarily onsite with the potential for a hybrid schedule.
• Provide tax compliance and consulting services to individuals, partnerships, trusts, not-for-profits and corporations in a variety of industries.
• Demonstrates the ability to review complex returns of individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates and trusts.
• Focus on project realization
• Demonstrate the ability to efficiently research tax topics of intermediate complexity.
• Help develop, build and manage client relationships.
• Take on client billing responsibility, as appropriate
• Assist in managing, developing and coaching professional tax staff.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Accounting required
• CPA certified
• Public accounting tax experience
• Personnel management experience required
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Software proficiencies include: Microsoft Office, CCH Axcess, QuickBooks
