Under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager, he/she will be responsible for recruiting to fill all current and future openings for the Melville site, with the primary focus on production and maintenance openings. The ideal candidate should have experience with initial sourcing, pre-screening and follow up. Able to creatively source high caliber candidates by leveraging recruiting software, social media, cold calling, and employee referrals. Must be comfortable speaking with new people frequently and have an ability to determine a candidate's potential through clever questions. He/she should have excellent organizational skills to build and maintain a pipeline of prospective candidates. Additionally, they should be committed to both meeting and exceeding assigned quotas.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop pipeline of eligible candidates for current and future open positions across all organizational levels
- Conduct candidate prescreening
- Conduct interviews via phone or Webex
- Qualify or reject candidates based on interview feedback and resume reviews
- Serve as contact person for questions from candidates
- Schedule interviews with wider team
- Provide feedback and follow up in a timely manner
- Ability to track and trend data
- Meet weekly quotas related to calls and emails
Requirements:
- Effective communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with Microsoft Office suite, Linked In and other recruiting platforms
- High energy and passion for placing the right candidates in the right roles
- Demonstrated ability to meet quotas
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
Salary : $56,100 - $71,000
