Description
The Sales Counter/Driver Associate role touches every aspect of branch operations: customer care over the counter and the phone, warehouse duties, and driving responsibilities. The Sales/Driver associate will be knowledgeable, motivated, energetic, and able to manage time effectively. Each branch is a 3-4-person team, so we cross-train each associate. Everyone at the branch is essential to the store's overall success.
Responsibilities:

Greet and direct customers

In-person or over the phone must answer customers’ questions about specific products/services (e.g., product features, pricing, and after-sales services)

Entering orders in the ERP system

Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pick-up or delivery

Develop and stay up-to-date on product knowledge through involvement in Company and vendor-sponsored training programs

Coordinate with your team to provide excellent customer service (especially during our busy season)

Assist with merchandising products, managing inventory, and other store tasks while maintaining a safe working environment

May be required to make local deliveries to the customer

Ensure that the store and all its properties are upholding the expectations of the Keeling Company brand: exceeding customer service expectations, cleanliness, atmosphere, and high energy.

All other duties are assigned by the branch manager or Keeling Company leadership team.

Qualifications
Job Requirements:

A current or the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certification

Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. from the floor

Forklift certification provided by Keeling Company

Clean Motor Vehicle Report

Ability to use the computer for email, invoicing, and inventory management

High School degree or equivalent
-
Prior sales, warehousing, and/or delivery experience

Pass a required Drug and Background check

Customer service and communication skills
-
Able to remain professional and courteous at all times

Bilingual is a plus, not required
