General Summary
The Treasury Manager leads strategic treasury functions globally. This role builds scalable global treasury operations in support of the company's strong ongoing growth. The Treasury Manager manages the cash forecasting models and ensures sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational requirements. This position will be "hands-on" with no direct report but working closely with accounting and finance teams globally.
*The team estimates that 70% of the role will be remote and 30% will be in-office.*
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage treasury and cash operations, reporting, and analysis
- Manage banking relationships and identify opportunities to better utilize the group's bank services
- Monitor the cash management process and determine accuracy of cash reporting on a global scale
- Manage cash forecasting models, maintain liquidity, and monitor bank balances and borrowing requirements
- Lead cash forecasting process globally
- Management and Administration of bank accounts, including opening, closing, and monitoring
- Responsible for the 13-week consolidated cash forecast, including variance analysis, management reporting and recommendations to improve cash flow
- Evaluate and manage all bank borrowing lines and other credit facilities for Fuerst Group and its subsidiaries
- Ensure compliance with bank credit agreement(s), including covenants
- Evaluate and manage FX and Interest Rate hedging strategies, transactions and related trades
- Evaluate and manage global Supply Chain financing program for factory suppliers
- Support maintenance of bank account structure, including bank signatories, banking resolutions, Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation, e-banking portal and user access requests
- Analyze financial markets to identify and report trends in interest rates, inflation rates, or other factors that may affect the company's earnings or capital requirements
- Identify and implement improvements related to banking, treasury management, and ERP platforms
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of treasury experience at a multinational company
- BA/BS degree in Business, Accounting or Economics required
- MBA degree in Business, Accounting or Economics preferred
- Certified Treasury Professional preferred
- Manufacturing/Product-based industry experience preferred
- Log On, SAP, NetSuite or other enterprise software experience preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge and skills sets in Treasury systems, process optimization, and control structure
- Proven ability to collaborate across a global organization and interact with all levels of management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective organization skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks or projects with competing deadlines
- Effective analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with an eye for minute details
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to challenge the status quo of current processes and implement changes to increase scale and efficiency
