WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE
- Extensive knowledge of all types of alcohol and mixology for traditional and creative cocktails
- Work with the Concept Development Team to create seasonal & innovative drinks based on each Concept’s menu, demographic, etc.
- Manage the business aspects of the bar such as: keeping a current liquor license, negotiating supplier contracts, taking inventory and reordering supplies, managing budgets, and setting goals.
- Hire, oversee, and train staff, including bartenders and bar backs, at multiple Concepts
- Assist with organizing and presenting beverage training for employees and other special culinary events throughout the year
- Develop a growth plan for bar talent within the Concepts
- Oversee new restaurant openings bar program
- Oversee cleanliness of staff and physical bar area, paying special attention to possible health hazards and code violations
- Plan and take part in promotional events
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 3 years experience in a similar capacity
- Have a strong understanding of different types of drinks and cuisines
- Work well in fast-paced setting and high pressure working environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills
- Have a flexible/adaptable schedule
- Alcohol ServSafe certificate
- Manager ServSafe certificate
