Responsibilities include implementation of strategies for continuous improvement programs to improve manufacturing operations. Evaluate and support continuous improvement activities to optimize production flow. Manage and audit 6S systems. Lead Kaizen events for process improvement. Plan and organize Kanban, JIT deliveries and WIP utilizing ERP System. Drive continuous improvement and sustainment culture. Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to make recommendations for improvements within facilities. Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 18 years of age. BS in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations or related degree is preferred. Expertise in Lean and Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies is required. Experience leading lean efforts in a manufacturing environment required. Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment focusing on quality and attention to detail. Able to communicate in English with team members (Speak and basic reading and writing ability required.) May be required to pass employer performance tests including pre-employment drug screening.
Physical requirements include ability to sit or stand for 8 to 10 hours at a time. Lift 25 lbs. repetitively. Production facility exposed to continual machine noise.
