Our client, a customer service orientated company, is currently seeking a General Manager with expertise in the retail and/ or training industry. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations and performance of the business. This is a key leadership position that requires a strategic mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to drive sales and profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase market share
  • Manage and mentor store employees
  • Ensure that all operations are efficient and aligned with company standards
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities
  • Work closely with the training department to develop and implement training programs for staff
  • Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, merchandising, and operations to ensure seamless business operations
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure optimal stock levels in stores
  • Prepare and present reports on sales performance, trends, and forecasts
  • Stay updated on industry developments and apply best practices to drive business growth


Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in management in a B2C environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record of driving sales and achieving business targets.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • In-depth knowledge of operations and industry trends
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
  • Experience in training and development is highly preferred
  • Proficient in using management software and systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Willingness to travel as required
