As a Plant Production Scheduler II at our Muncy, PA facility, you will play an essential role by partnering with the operations and maintenance teams to implement and modify production plans to drive results. You’ll work closely with the teams to build a cohesive environment where scheduling and master planning are successfully executed – it’s about playing to win.

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Setting the Pace – Create the weekly production schedule aligned with corporate requirements. Your attention to detail will serve you well because getting things off to a great start is a must!
- Thinking Strategically – Advise the materials planner to guarantee inventories at the lowest dollar levels while ensuring material availability to meet the plant’s production schedule.
- Collaborating to Win - Interact with vendors and corporate product availability team to work through challenges. Your ability to work as a team player and troubleshooter is key to your success.
- Driving Efficiency – Ensure all material checks are completed to support each schedule. You’ll also assist in resolving material quality issues and coordinating inter-plant transfers. Thanks to you, the plant will operate more smoothly than before!
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Required:
- High school diploma or GED and related experience
- Experience working with inventory-related software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, emotional intelligence, and strong ability to negotiate with internal and external customers
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex situations
- Aptitude for working with employees at all levels of the organization
- Ability to function in a union environment (where applicable) and promote positive employee relations
- Advanced computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications
Bonus Points:
- Bachelor’s degree and related experience
- Experience with SAP
