Position Summary: The Senior Engineering Administrator provides a range of administrative support for engineering activities ensuring the effective and consistent delivery regarding technical communications, resources and competencies, and project activity. The Administrator will work closely with Engineering Leadership, Project Management staff, Documentation Management, Engineering Tech Aides, Business Operations, and Human Resources.
Primary Responsibilities:
- 30 Arrange, coordinate, and moderate management meetings and events.
- Record, transcribe and distribute technical minutes of meetings.
- Prepare reports, memos, letters, and other documents for management using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software.
- Support leadership team with Kansas Aviation Research Technology KART initiative management Regularly update appropriate documents and processes.
- Implement improvements as needed.
- 40 Support on-boarding processes of new employees and assure they receive proper account accesses, technical training, and experience a smooth transition as well as off-boarding of employees to assure accurate account closures
- Provide technical training administration by assuring all required technical training is complete, coordinate new training, and support reporting of any training metrics.
- Update seating charts and organizational charts as needed
- Maintain email distribution lists Understand and support Delegation of Signatory and ensure required DOA training is completed Administration of the resource and competency database
- Assure various application accounts accesses are current and appropriate for staff
- Project Administration: 20 Support and/or lead small defined projects involving engineering staff i.e. mass seat assignment moves, celebration events, new application rollout, etc.
- Support the collection of project data and preparations of presentation materials
- Assure Wiki site is up-to-date and functioning properly
Education:
- Associate Degree in business administration or related field, required.
- Bachelor s Degree in business administration or related field preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of five 5 years experience in a clerical/administrative position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in the aviation industry, a plus Knowledge, Skills,
- Proficiency with MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Suite Docs, Sheets, Slides, Sites
- Exceptional customer service orientation and demonstrated innovative approach to
- Make Things Happen.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, be very organized and meet deadlines
- Need to be very detail oriented, have experience with website management.
- Prior aircraft administration experience is helpful
