Pyrotek’s Columbia City, Indiana, USA, stamping facility specializes in medium to high volume production of light gauge metal stampings.
- Options include wire mesh, expanded and perforated metal available in materials such as tinplate steel, aluminum, brass, stainless steel and many other metals.
Resumes required. No HSD/GED required but must have at least 2 years experience
Assembler 3 openings 1st shift $16.00
- 6a-4:30 p M-R OT on Friday and sometimes Saturday
- Assemble thermalcouples for furnace, aerospace, rims, etc
- Some of the easiest assembly positions around
- Climate and clean environment
- Peaceful, calming area
- Music sometimes
- Very small and tedious parts or some large parts
Press Operator- 3 Openings 2nd shift $16.50
Feeding product into the Press machine; making sure it is functioning properly
- 4:30p-3am OT M-R OT Friday and Sat
- Taking shovel to ensure machine is empty and free of debris
- Waiting/watching
- Lifting up to 50 lbs (group lifts)
- Do not require HS diploma

A typical day as an Assembly Worker will look like:
Process MgO material into finished and semi-finished products via various machine operations and assembly techniques, to include:
Accurately reading work order instructions and carryout operations as required.
Perform basic Preventative Maintenance (PM) tasks as assigned.
Continuously identify areas for process improvement, cost, and waste reduction.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
A minimum of two years of manufacturing or fabrication experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Can lift 75lbs
Have reliable transportation
