What are the responsibilities and job description for the Claims Examiner position at Kelly?
Pay Rate: $17.30 per hour
Length of Assignment: November 2021- April 2022 (Temp to Perm)
Hours: Monday-Friday; 8am-5:00pm
What’s a typical day as a Claims Examiner? You’ll be:
As a Claims Examiner, you will be responsible for inputting new claims, processing payments, conducting billing research and responding to telephone inquiries. Prepares daily reports for claims management team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for inputting new claims (Disability Claim & Absence Management (Leave) along with Life Claims)
- Processing payments
- Conducting billing research
- Prepares daily reports for claims management team.
Disability Claim & Absence Management (Leave) along with Life Claims experience. - Responding to telephone inquiries.
Skills and Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must have 2-3 years’ experience; working with claimants, and policy holders (disability and absence management claims preferred)
- Experience processing high volume claims
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, ICAS & AWD (preferred).
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.
