Director, Marketing Operations

The Director of Marketing Operations ensures we have a highly efficient marketing team, enabled with the right tools to help achieve company objectives. This role is responsible for our mar-tech thru the entire B2B funnel and will ensure the right people, processes and technology is in place to achieve our goals.

This person oversees a team of marketing operations professionals focused on tech stack management and automation, database health and continual process improvement. This role also plays a key part in lead-flow strategy, infrastructure deployments, including technology ownership (in partnership with IT) and marketing process governance.

The Marketing Ops Director works closely with our Marketing Web Services and IT teams support SFDC and our company website. They will also be responsible for ensuring that all touchpoints captured in the mar-tech stack are measurable and that each touchpoint is attributable.

The ideal candidate is an innovator at heart with a forward-leaning view on all things mar-tech. They are naturally curious and appreciate knowing the why behind marketing requests and requirements. With a keen eye for details, this person realizes success is achieved by getting the little things right.

What You'll Do:

  • Reshape and refine a best-in-class martech stack to support global and regional marketing programs from early awareness through to closed won deals.
  • Lead and develop an international team in the United States and India managing system integrations, data integrity and automated workflows.
  • Work closely with Web team to support form capture, digital segments, and personalized experiences utilizing 1st and 3rd party data.
  • Support Growth Marketing with large-scale digital campaigns where personalization, targeting, and data-driven decisions are critical.
  • Manage full lifecycle of integration tools including home grown master data management solutions and 3rd party tools such as 6Sense, ON24 and Zoom.
  • Develop and maintain marketing ROI models that consider multi-touch, first and last touch attribution in determining pipeline influence.
  • Own the marketing database and maintain proper governance including opt-in/out status and GDPR compliance through a strong relationship with our legal team.

Requirements:

  • 10 years in roles supporting Marketing Automation Platforms
  • 5 years working with Salesforce.com
  • Proficient with lead scoring, lead flows and understanding of AI-based solutions
  • Deep understanding of system integrations through APIs
  • Able to understand and navigate GDPR legal requirements and prove compliance
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Experience with email marketing strategies including automated nurture streams
  • Strong understanding of Marketing KPIs across digital channels
  • Exceptional workflow and project management skills
  • Experience with PowerBI, Tableau or other data visualization tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field of study.
