Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (KellyOCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Tech for a long-term engagement at one of our Global clients in Elk Grove Village, IL. As a Electrical Maintenance Tech placed with KellyOCG you will be responsible for the following:
Summary:
The Electrical Maintenance Technician will be performing mechanical maintenance along with some electrical and instrument maintenances in a manufacturing location.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Execute tasks as assigned on a daily maintenance work plan
- Communicate through emails and SAP
- Work with tools, identify parts, replace parts, move equipment/parts/tools in a trolley
- Wear all required PPE and safety harness
- Work on plant equipment for repairs and preventative maintenance
- Attend maintenance meetings, safety meetings, site meetings and abide by safety direvitves under the safe work permit
- Drive and use scissor lift to perform various work
Required Qualifications:
- Some college or an Associate’s Degree or work experience equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance/manufacturing maintenance
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Proficient in SAP
- Excellent communication skills, organizational and work coordination skills, and interpersonal skills are critical to role success
- Must exhibits professional behaviors and maintains high ethical standards.
- A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
