What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Aide position at Kelly?
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook with 1-3 years of experience.
- 1 Year experience of inputting data into excel and writing summaries in word.
- Ability to manipulate data in excel to create graphs, show trends, and utilize pivot tables.
Desired Skills:
- SAP knowledge Like Oracle desirable, but not required
- Knowledge of manufacturing systems and assembly processes
- Associates degree
Core Job Responsibilities:
- Aid Production with Work Order Paperwork.
- Work with Engineering to handle MRDR Process Work Orders Failed in Production.
- Work with Engineer support to investigate and complete paperwork to close out and document the failure.
- Manage the flow of failed work orders through quality, rework process, and production
- Fill out all quality rejections forms and get physical signatures from all parties, manufacturing management, production engineering, and quality assurance so work order can be dispositioned
- Transcribe to excel QA rework, inspection and MRDR log on a daily basis.
- Create rework requests and lists, as well as being able to digitally request signatures from R&D.
- Other general administrative duties/functions as assigned.
- Assist in the maintenance and control of Engineering documentation including procedures, forms, work instructions and formal reports.
- Access excel logs/files and transfer data into other spreadsheets to create data tracking reports and summaries.
- Receive MRDR scans, pictures and other documents through email and catalog all failed WO data into one master excel file, such as mold number, part number, lot number, machine run on, etc.
- Generate daily reports and graphs via Excel Success Factors.
- High-accuracy data entry abilities, must not make errors in data entry or other documentation as it is part of quality system.
- Able to walk for extended periods of time typically less than 3 hours collectively per day.
