We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Safety Advisor to join our dynamic project in Hartwell, GA. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring the safety and well-being of our workforce by overseeing the work authorization process and monitoring on-site safety conditions. Key Responsibilities
- Lead by Example: Set the standard for safety by actively managing risk every day.
- Safety Culture Champion: Work directly with Safety Managers and Supervisors to embed safety practices throughout the project.
- Communication & Coordination: Ensure the Project Site Safety and Health Plan is fully understood and implemented by all contractors. Keep the Project Safety Manager and Director informed of high-level safety issues.
- Incident Management: Participate in incident investigations, assist with corrective actions, and contribute to safety reports and metrics.
- Daily Oversight: Administer daily safety processes, conduct workplace assessments, and provide leadership in safety meetings.
- Experience: 3 years in a construction-related safety role or a Safety Degree with 5 years of experience.
- Certifications: OSHA 30 required; OSHA 500/510 preferred.
- Skills: High-level hazard recognition, strong understanding of the construction industry, and solid computer skills.
- Stability: A 12 month assignment with a structured rotation schedule (3 weeks on, 4 days off).
- Impact: Direct involvement in shaping a safe and compliant work environment.
