Furnace Tender – Permanent Position, no temp-to-hire period. Are you looking for a company where you can have a long term “career”! Essential Functions: Sets up, operates, maintains, and controls furnaces to melt metal to specified temperatures. Adjusts furnace temperature to ensure specified temperature. Tends furnace that remelts nonferrous alloyed metals used in process. Skims slag from surface of molten metal, using hand strainer. May clean furnaces and equipment. $19.00 based on experience.
