We are seeking a HR Generalist for a leading manufacturing company in Roseville, MN!
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm (100% onsite role as it in a manufacturing facility)
Assignment: 7 months (with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate)
Pay: $28/hour
Overview
The Human Relations Generalist is a Champion of People, Diversity and Inclusion for the Plant supporting the Plant Manager and Sales BU, local leadership and hourly associates on three shifts and sales in multiple locations. The HRG is responsible for the HR function providing best in class services that facilitate greater effectiveness throughout the bakery and sales BU. HRG's have strong labor relations, proven HRG skills that will engage the business. HRG's have the ability to influence leadership and ability to link business objectives back to organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Help manage, turnover, headcount, exit interviews, attendance tracking as it relates to HR processing.
- Maintain job descriptions as they evolve to meet organizational needs
- Conduct new hire orientation as needed.
- Facilitate HR initiatives as needed.
- Act as point of contact for HR related issues.
- Manage HR files and I-9s for compliance.
- Heavy people management skills.
- Participate in audits and requisitions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field
- 3 years HR generalist experience in a manufacturing environment
