What a typical day as a HR Generalist:
- Provides support to one or more functional areas of human resources, such as recruiting, labor relations, compensation, benefits, payroll and/or organizational development.
- Communicates human resources information to assigned customer groups.
- Troubleshoots, researches and resolves human resources issues.
- Processes and coordinates various paperwork.
- Gathers information and prepares reports.
- Maintains and distributes current employee information and other communications. .
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- High school diploma, plus 3 years experience in HR-related field, required
- Bachelor’s degree in applicable field, preferred
- Professional verbal and written communication skills and ability to relate to others in an empathetic and helpful manner
- Experience with PeopleSoft, Workday or other HRIS
- Basic analytical and system navigation skills with strong organization skills
- Self-motivated and independent problem solving ability
- Spanish speaking skills, desired
- Ability to work in a change-filled environment and manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) products, as well as Internet-savvy
