What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Assistant position at Kelly?
Pay: $20-25/hr, based on experience
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm
Assignment Duration: 3 months
What’s a typical day as Human Resources Assistant? You’ll be:
- Supports the Human Resources Department, which may include recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development, and training.
- May screen job applicants to obtain information such as their education and work experience; administer aptitude, personality, and interest tests; explain employment policies and refer qualified applicants to the employing official; and request references from present or past employers.
- Records information and answers questions about employee absences and supervisory reports on employee job performance.
- Responds to written inquiries from the public, send out announcements of job openings or job examinations, and issue application forms.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Additional tasks at various stages could include:
- Performs various clerical duties (i.e. make copies, file documents).
- May inform job applicants by telephone or letter, of their acceptance for or denial of employment.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Human Resource experience (Required)
- MS Office and G Suite Knowledge (Required)
