What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Recruiter position at Kelly?
We’re seeking a 1st Shift HR Recruiter for a client in Northborough, MA. The hours will be between Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (with lunch break). The role will be in a fast paced, production-like environment.
Projected start date is immediate and will be contract for 6-months (through end of July 2022). With us, it’s all about finding the job that’s just right.
Pay rate: $30.00/hr
Job Duties:
- The position cannot be remote, however we can entertain hybrid.
- Extensive experience with full-cycle recruiting keeping quality and know how to facilitate conversations, resolve conflicts, and provide excellent internal and external customer service exhibiting high emotional intelligence and active listening skills.
- Understand the importance of and have the ability to build lasting internal (employees, management, team) and external relationships (community, professional contacts, industry).
- Able to learn and incorporate internal policies and procedures and to address transactional issues within established policies and guidelines. Candidate should be able to connect the dots, identify patterns in employee concerns and recommend improvements.
- Have demonstrated effective, knowledgeable written and oral communication skills in dealing promptly and accurately with business partners, keeping the audience’s perspective in mind when crafting communications.
- Provide guidance to hiring managers, demonstrating a solid foundation in critical human resource areas and have the ability to apply these principles to HR solutions and resolution.
- Become familiar with business lines, terms and acronyms, products/services and sector results.
- Detail-oriented and have an organized approach for consistent and complete documentation retention.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Additional Responsibilities will include:
- Manage and participate in all aspects of recruitment (sourcing, interviewing, career fairs, job fairs, tech talks, community outreach, diversity initiatives, etc.)
- Provide excellent customer service to hiring managers and candidates, providing HR solutions support, process knowledge advice and consultation. Understand and apply policies and procedures.
- Develop internal (employees, management, HR peers) and external relationships (community, diversity organizations, professional contacts, industry) to improve existing HR practices (pipeline for hiring, share best practices, etc.).
- Network, benchmark and utilize shared HR best practices. Implement creative/innovative initiatives to improve HR practices relative to recruitment.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of HR processes- recruiting, extending job offers
- A quality oriented individual
- A self- starter, someone who shows initiative
- A team player (individual who can work well with a team)
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required, strong preference for Associate's degree (or higher education level)
At least one year of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Strong presentation and communication skills
