Machine Operator

Pay Rate: $14.50 per hour

Hours: 1st Shift

What’s a typical day as a Machine Operators?

• Sanding, Grinding, Polishing, Welding, NC/CNC, Deburring, Machine Tools, Automated Manufacturing Systems, Milling, Semiconductor Bonding, Semiconductor Wafers
• Sorting and Checking, Inspection, Coordinated Rapid Movement, Tool-Related Assembly (if job requires the use of hand tools).
• Sets up and operates machine to perform job specifications.
• Skillfully uses machine tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments.
• May need to be familiar with the metric measuring systems.
• Possesses an understanding of machine functions and specification standards.
• Knowledgeable of assembly and repair techniques required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• 1-3 years’ Experience in role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with individuals and groups to effectively participate within team environment.
• May require personal safety equipment such as safety glasses, goggles, dust masks or respirators or face shield.

Required: steel toe shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs
