What’s a typical day as a Marketing Analyst 1? You’ll be:
- Responsible for collecting, organizing and analyzing data to support strategic planning, tracking competitor pricing and positioning, developing and managing sales tools and communications
- Working closely with Sales and Marketing Management to understand information and communication needs and develop processes necessary to support those needs
- Providing marketing and sales support in all regions
- Developing responses to ad hoc requests for sales and other departments, working with the appropriate areas to coordinate information
- Maintaining an ad hoc request database logging requests and responses
- Providing project management and assisting with market analysis, opportunity assessment, product plans and forecasts
- Conducting secondary research and analysis, synthesizing results and making recommendations
- Assisting with on-going portfolio analysis, including data mining, review, synthesis and summary of findings
- Responsible for market trend research, marketplace positioning, and sales and product analysis
- Analyzing product and price positioning, researching product and service opportunities, organizing / analyzing data for sales and product strategy development, developing and managing sales tools, developing processes to manage on-going sales and marketing support functions, and coordination of special projects as management identifies them
- Working closely with the marketing division staff and senior management creating data and analysis to support strategic planning
- Keeping all areas of the corporation informed through written and oral reports
- Representing Marketing both internally and externally in areas of expertise
- Continuously working to identify and remove barriers to increased productivity, quality, cost effectiveness, timeliness of operations, and customer satisfaction
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or similar discipline
- 3 years in the marketing discipline
- Health care industry experience (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (esp. Word and Excel)
- Proficiency in Adobe Professional
- Strong project management skills; capable of coordinating critical path activities within planned timelines
- Strong analytical skills, highly effective communication skills, and the ability to synthesize large volumes of detail and determine implications
- Demonstrated initiative and creativity in assessing the trends in the marketplace and recommending their impact on strategy
- The ability to establish effective relationships with all levels of representatives
