Great opportunity for a Material Handler at a chemical and materials company in Manchester, PA!
A chemical and materials company in Manchester, Pa is in need of Material Handlers. The primary duties are to; blow mold, transfer and convey bottles by taking light weight plastic bottles off the manufacturing line, and performing quick inspection, adds a cap and places in a box which gets palletized. The candidate will need to be comfortable with physical labor. Attention detail (inspection experience), packing and experience working in a warehouse/manufacturing is extremely helpful. Fast-paced working environment.
Your Typical Day:
- Inspect bottle before packing (an area with light provided)
- Looking for debris in bottle
- Check for thickness base of bottle
- Pack bottle (assemble and add 4x divider to box)
- Palletize boxes
- 300 bottles per hour to pack out (quality team *separate* does audit every 2 hours on bottles) ~5 bottles per minute
Additional Information:
- Hours: Monday-Friday, (1st shift 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.), (2nd shift 3;00 p.m.-11:30 p.m.) & (3rd shift 11:00 p.m.-7:30 a.m.)
- Pay Rate: (1st shift) $25.00 per hr., (2nd shift) $26.00 per hr., & (3rd shift $27.00 per hr.)
- This is a TEMP-HIRE position
- Weekly Pay
- Candidate will need to be Covid-19 Vaccinated.
