What’s a typical day as a Material Handler/Manufacturing Operator? You’ll be:

• Weighing and identifying various chemicals according to specifications
• Loading mixer with pre-weighed chemicals, polymers, and oils to assure thorough mixing of material for compounding
• Milling rubber compound dropped from mixer according to specifications
• Performing batch off duties of cooling compound, stacking for storage, and identifying materials for pre-forming operations
• Performing pre-forming operations and prepping material for molding

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a High School Diploma or GED
• Have previously worked in a manufacturing experience a plus but not required, or worked in a non-manufacturing role that required you to stand for entire shift
• Are flexible to work random overtime and split shift work if needed
• Are able to lift 30-35 pounds on consistent basis and up to 75 pounds on occasion
• Are able to train from 6am-2pm, Mon-Fri, for up to 2 weeks, and work 2pm-10pm on a long-term basis
