Member Service Specialist Marshall, MI$20 / hour Direct Hire Position *Kelly Services has recently partnered with our customer in the banking industry seeking a Member Service Specialist to join their team.
The branch manager is ready to bring someone on board who works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. All training is provided in the Jackson, MI branch (accommodation may be provided based on distance to training).

- Opportunity to grow within the company *Duties and Responsibilities : Engage with credit union members and identify ways to maximize their experience
- Cross-sell and advise on products and services* Open deposit and loan accounts* Service existing accounts
- Process personal lines of credit for overdraft protection or Visa applications* Provide members with excellent service in person and by phone, general and specific account and loan information, and other related credit union services and products
- Respond to members' requests, problems, and complaints, and / or direct them to the proper person for specific information and assistance* Assist teller line when needed, including processing members' deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers initiated by phone or in person, and other miscellaneous member transactions efficiently and accurately*Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 6 months previous credit union / banking experience required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proven sales skills
- Ability to remain calm when working with credit union members
