What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Chemist position at Kelly?
Schedule: 1st shift Monday-Friday
Salary: Starting at $45,000 and could increase depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Apply Scientific principles to the formulation of solvents and cleaning products
- Conduct research, analysis, and experimentation on products and raw materials
- Investigate and develop new technologies and methodologies
- formulate and develop innovative and cost control products
- Problem solve batch corrections
- Manage and maintain regulatory compliance with EPA, GHS, standards and Green Seal Certification
- Evaluate and interpret test results and make appropriate recommendations
- Provide technical service support and conduct customer complaint investigations
- Be the technical voice of the company to clients and the community
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor degree (Chemistry proffered)
- 2 years' experience in a batch chemical manufacturing environment
- High level PC skills including Microsoft office, Access, Word, and Excel
