This is a direct hire Production Manager position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Benefits:

• Our client offers a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Vacation, Holiday and more!
• Paid Time Off: 2 weeks’ vacation, 40 hours of sick time, 11 paid holidays. 1-week additional vacation after 2nd year.
• The company will contribute matching contributions equal to 100% match up to 3%, plus a 50% match for the next 3% of contributed wages or salary for all employees

Details:

• Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
• 65K-95K (DOE)
• Forest Grove, OR

Position Information:

• Manage the daily operations and production team within the production plant.
• Manages team schedules to meet the needs of production.
• Implements safety, quality, and food safety in the production plant.
• Assists with operations management and plant production plans and budget.
• Implements new ideas and changes to system and procedures to improve overall operations.
• Estimates quantities of materials, supplies, and equipment needs.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Knowledge of food manufacturing and production including safety and sanitation.
• Management and leadership experience with the ability to lead operations and develop your team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to use equipment, tools, and machinery to solve problems.
• Must be proficient with MS Office.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in food industry/manufacturing.
