Project Manager working in company's PMO for Global Risk & Digital on behalf of our Cognitive Services and Data Enrichment projects. This role will work across business, digital, and IT/Legacy data systems sponsors and teams. This role will perform key analysis and project planning as well as manage across all phases of the project life cycle to drive execution success. Success requires a combination of agile and technology project experience, strong communication, project management and business analysis skills and understanding of personal lines insurance systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning, organizing, and overseeing the implementation of Analytics projects using Agile methodologies to ensure on-time delivery of projects
- Managing the Agile development process, including sprints, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Facilitating project team communication, coordination, and collaboration through daily stand-ups and effective communication channels
- Ensuring adherence to established best practices, project criteria, and regulatory requirements for the delivery of analytics projects.
- Communicating project status, risks, issues, and opportunities to stakeholders.
- Providing guidance, training, and mentorship to the project team.
- Reviewing, optimizing, and continuously improving project management processes, procedures, and governance.
- Work cooperatively with cross-functional and cross-geographic teams and related stakeholders to gather requirements, plan, and manage the execution of project deliverables
- Coordinate closely between Agile digital delivery teams and product teams to bridge project coordination and communication between business needs and digital solutions.
- Monitor project delivery, identify, and escalate project risks/issues/dependencies, ensure appropriate resource levels, and communicate progress to the stakeholders at different levels
- Organize and facilitate a project steering group made up of executive sponsors and key stakeholders to help drive the project forward
- Contribute solutions to problems impeding progress
- Develop and execute plans under a set of implementation and delivery time constraints. Create meeting agendas, status updates, and meeting minutes. Proactive follow-ups.
- Provide status updates and reports to executive sponsors and key stakeholders on a regular basis.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor's degree in a technology-related discipline from an accredited University. Examples, software engineering, data science. An additional business degree such as an MBA or degree in risk management would be a plus.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels
- Minimum of 7 years of project management, Scrum master and/or Product Owner experience in Agile environment, Certification of skills a plus (example PMP, CSM). Program management experience will also be considered. Good combo of business and technical PMs with agile project management experience
- Demonstrated project success from past experience managing a complex data or application development project
- Experience managing, implementing, and delivering analytics systems/solutions
- Minimum of 2 years working in an IT or digital team. Experience should include 1 or more of the following:
- Prior IT delivery experience, especially on Enterprise Data and Analytics programs
- Back-end legacy data integration
- Technology application development
- Minimum of a year working in a global and complex matrixed environment
- Financial industry experience; insurance industry or Insuretech experience a plus
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Demonstrated integrity and dedication to effective, efficient delivery of objectives.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint, and with documenting project plans. Experience with Microsoft Teams a plus.
- Experience with agile project management software. Previous use of JIRA a plus.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work autonomously
- Ability to flex hours to accommodate meetings with team members in multiple time zones
